Terms of use
Before using Henguren Toolbox, please understand its purpose, data responsibilities, sign-in and sync behavior, and open-source license.
Last updated: July 25, 2026
1. Purpose
Henguren Toolbox is a lightweight collection of Chinese and English learning tools for lookup, practice, recording and review. It does not replace textbooks, teacher guidance, official exam answers or professional learning advice.
2. Learning content and user data
The project aims to keep built-in data accurate, clear and usable, but omissions may remain. You are responsible for verifying the source, legality and accuracy of word lists, wrongbooks, print content and sync data you provide. Do not upload, import or sync content you are not entitled to use.
3. Sign-in and LSCube OAuth
Sign-in is provided by LSCube OAuth. When using sign-in, authorization, account security and session management, you must also follow the LSCube OAuth Terms of use and Privacy policy. If you do not agree, you may remain signed out and continue using local features.
4. Sync responsibilities
Cloud sync is explicit. Downloading, overwrite uploads and merge uploads may change the local or cloud wrongbook, so confirm the data source first. You configure and maintain custom developer sync sources and are responsible for their keys, bucket permissions, CORS and retention rules.
5. Prohibited conduct
You must not use this project or related services for unauthorized access, API abuse, bypassing security controls, attacking systems, sending abnormal requests in bulk, or uploading or syncing illegal, infringing or malicious content.
6. Disclaimer
This project is provided “as is.” Maintainers make reasonable efforts to improve usability and security but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, users accept the risks arising from use, inability to use, mistakes, third-party service failures or incorrectly configured custom sync sources.
7. Open-source license and updates
The project code is released under the MIT License, available in full on the license page. These terms may change as features, laws or security needs evolve; continued use indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
